Professor Mark Copelovitch will speak on “Brexit and the Future(s) of the European Union”. He will discuss the political and economic challenges facing the European Union, including Brexit, rising populist nationalism, and the continued problems of the Eurozone. With the actual Brexit scheduled for March 2019, his presentation will be timely and insightful. Mark Copelovitch is Professor of Political Science and Public Affairs at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His research focus concerns the politics of international trade, money, and finance. He is particularly interested in the domestic and international politics of financial crises, and the role of the International Monetary Fund in global financial governance. He also studies European integration and the European Union.
