The Center for a New American Security, a bi-partisan national security think tank in Washington, DC., presents a high-level delegation as part of a new project led by CNAS. The group will be led by Dr. Andrea Kendall-Taylor, an alumna of the National Intelligence Council and the Director of the Transatlantic Security Program at CNAS, and with us we're bringing The Ambassador of Estonia, Jonatan Vseviov, Ambassador of Croatia, H.E. Pjer Simunovic, CNAS President Richard Fontainem former policy advisor to Senator John McCain.
They are coming to Madison as part of their ambitious nation-wide program in partnership with the Global Public Policy Institute in Berlin, Germany, called “Across the Pond, in the Field.” The goal of this project is simple: to reinvigorate the transatlantic partnership by holding discussions and debates on various aspects of the transatlantic relationship with diverse audiences across America. They will be bringing two Europeans and two Americans to 12 cities across the United States to engage in a series of debates and discussions with “grass top” leaders – local individuals in industry and the public sector that serve as opinion leaders.
