The World Bank: The Nature of the Institution and Its Major Initiatives

Dr. Indermit Gill is Chief Economist of the World Bank Group and Senior Vice President for Development Economics. He brings to the role a broad combination of leadership, expertise, and practical experience working with governments on macroeconomic imbalances, growth, poverty, institutions, conflict, and climate change. Dr. Indermit Gill will be speaking on the status and direction of the World Bank Group.

This in-person event will be held at The Park Hotel.

Please note: 

• The cost per person is $42 and includes venue fees, appetizers, taxes, and tip.
  
• Parking is available in the Park Hotel ramp for a fee, city ramps and there may be (limited) free street parking after 5pm.

• Check in begins at 5:30pm and the presentation will begin at 6:15.

Be sure to register on time! Registrations and payments will not be accepted after Tuesday, October 24, 2023.

• Registration for in person events closes the week prior to the date of the event to provide the meal count to The Park Hotel.
• Payment must be received before the registration deadline. Neither registrations nor payments will be accepted after the registration deadline.
• All registrations and payments for events must be made online with a credit card. We will not be able to accept checks as payment for event registrations.
• Registrations are confirmed only if payment is received before the registration deadline.
• Only members and guests with confirmed registrations will be admitted to a program.
