Other Area Groups

The UW Madison International Division is an Institutional Member of MCFR.  It is led by Dean and Vice Provost Guido Podestá and plays a central role in engaging with faculty, staff, students, and alumni to strategically internationalize the University of Wisconsin–Madison.  Through partnerships, special initiatives and development activities, the International Division seeks to advance international teaching and research and the education of global citizens in every school and college to help to ensure UW–Madison’s position as a world-class public research university.

MITA is comprised of international sales and marketing executives from South-central Wisconsin companies. It provides a forum to discuss practical issues with peers who have faced and surmounted similar problems.

Engaging in activities such as history, politics, art, music, the environment, language, economics, etc. are all possibilities for the Madison International Travel Meetup Group. Let's embrace the many things this world has to offer us here in Madison!

Global Wisconsin is designed to encourage school districts to develop programs focused on the importance of understanding cultural differences and issues, and the impact it will have on students' future success. Global Wisconsin makes the case that international education is both essential to students and easily integrated into current teaching practices.
